The ages group is Bantam and midget age group; female and male youth born in 1993 (18 yrs) to 1997 (14 yrs) by December31st of that year.
The Indigenous Sport Council (Alberta) has been informed by the Aboriginal Sport Circle (National Body) that no decision has been made with respect to a host for the 2011 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships.
As a result of this decision and uncertainty for the National Championships the ISCA has cancelled all previously scheduled try-out camps.
The Indigenous Sport Council (Alberta) is in discussion with Saskatchewan and Manitoba with respect to the development of a Western Canadian Champion Aboriginal Hockey Championships. Information will be posted on the website as it is available.
