2012 Aboriginal National Invitational Volleyball Championships

Akwesasne Mohawk Territory invites Aboriginal volleyball athletes from across North America to participate in our National Invitational Volleyball championships, cultural activities and entertainment in Akwesasne Mohawk Nation July 27th – August 4th.

Our mission is to develop and deliver a national caliber volleyball championship along with educational and cultural activities that promotes unity, and increase the quality of living, fun and exercise, while participating in an organize volleyball tournament championships that achieves elite playing levels in a high performance setting. 1st Annual Golf Tournament

Greater Strides Hockey Academy is having a 1st Annual Golf Tournament.

The main goal/vision for Greater Strides is to start a hockey academy which would be the first and only hockey academy Nation-wide for aboriginal student-athletes.

The invitation list is strategically designed to include: Industry Executives Band Representatives Celebrities We will also have numerous current past and present NHL players on hand to take part in the tournament in various capacities

All proceeds from the 1st Annual Golf Tournament will go towards building the Greater Strides Hockey Academy. The game will be held at the Prestigious Redwood Meadows Golf & Country Club in beautiful Bragg Creek, Alberta. For more info and to register, click here.
 
     
 
Volleyball Development Camp

The Indigenous Sport Council of Alberta is considering offering 3 - 4 volleyball development camps for ages 12-15 and 16-18 in August/ September. Ideally these sessions would be offered in the North, Central and South Regions of the Province. For more info, and registration, click here.

Myers and Calvin Buffalo Memorial Golf Classic. Dorchester Golf Club, Pigeon Lake. June 25—26, 2011. The categories include—Men’s Division, Women’s Division, Senior’s Division and Super Senior’s Division. There is no Junior Division, however Juniors are welcome to play in Adult Division. 2014 NORTH AMERICAN INDIGENOUS GAMES

The North American Indigenous Games Council is pleased to announce Regina, Saskatchewan will have the honour of hosting the 2014 North American Indigenous Games. After a competitive bid process the Host Candidate Cities from Regina, Saskatchewan; Halifax, Nova Scotia and London, Ontario made final presentations to the NAIG Council in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. July 23rd, 24th, Ermineskin, Alberta. First Annual Youth Baseball Tourney will include teams from all age divisions mosuito 10-11 must be 11 on or after January 1st of playing year.
